Designed with car and caravan camping in mind, the Knot-a-Hitch system by Ruffwear uses climbing-inspired parts & hardware.

Key Features of the Ruffwear Knot-a-Hitch

1. Strong, 7mm reflective Kernmantle Rope that's 8.7m long - it can be set up between two trees or secured to a single post- the rope is strong, supple and reflective
   
2. An easy-to-use, 'auto-locking' tensioning system similar to what rock climbers use.  It is quick to set up.
   
3. A secure, locking carabiner to secure your dog's leash to - the carabiner moves freely up & down the line.  Plus it swivels so your dog's leash is kept twist & tangle free (note: leash is sold separately)
   
4. Convenient and durable stow bag for easy storage.  You can also use the bag to store excess rope tails if you don't need the full length of 8.7m rope.
   

Ruffwear have tested the strength of each component and field-tested it with different sized dogs ranging from small pups like Jack Russell Terriers to large dogs like Huskies.
