With the Beacon you can choose between 3 LED colour options (red, blue or green) and 3 light modes:

2. Pulse - Steady Blink
3. Solid - Always On

It also comes with a USB-rechargeable battery and standard, 15cm USB charging cord - so that means no batteries to purchase!  When there is approx 1 hr of illumination remaining, an indicator light will show you when its ready to recharge.
