The improved Ruffwear Knot-a-Hitch™ for 2022 is a dog-hitching system that gives your dog freedom to sniff and explore while you're setting up camp, cooking dinner or relaxing in the evening. 

Designed with car and caravan camping in mind, the Knot-a-Hitch system uses climbing-inspired parts & hardware including:

1. Strong, 7mm reflective Kernmantle Rope that can be set up between two trees or secured to a single post- the rope is strong, supple and reflective
   
2. An easy-to-use, 'auto-locking' tensioning system similar to what rock climbers use, that is quick to set up
   
3. A secure, locking carabiner that swivels so your dog's leash is kept twist & tangle free (note:  leash is sold separately)
   
4. Convenient and durable stow bag for easy storage

Ruffwear have tested the strength of each component and field-tested it with different sized dogs ranging from small pups like Jack Russell Terriers to large dogs like Huskies.
